Finding X

In the begining God created the heavens? and the earth? Creation story from the Bible is something that has bug me in many many many many ways. I have always seen the bible as a book of Knowledge and Inspiration (One of the many manuals of KI). But most times I can't help but challenge its content. The first few chapters of the bible guide us (in a way) through, or gives knoweldge of, the begining (theory) of our existence. But I can't help but to point out that it only mentioned about the creation of the heavens and the earth. Whatever happened to the other part of the Universe? (Maybe e no concern us). Must we bring ourselves to the knowledge of the fact that we can only explain as much as our experience (internally & externally) allows us?

If as of the timing of penning the begining of existence (on earth according to the author), the only world the author knew then was Earth (and just a part of it for that matter), can we then say that the creation story has a bit of limitation(s)? Won't the "story" be a bit different if the author knew about the other parts of the universe that we know today? Don't get me wrong here. I am not trying in anyway to screw your belief up (you can say "NO YOU CAN'T" here), but am only letting you in on my observations (you can say "KEEP YOUR OBsERVATIONS TO YOURSELF" here).

Many Many Many culture have their own version of the creation story but it seem to me that the Judeo-Christian seem to be the most interesting and widely accepted (through proper campaign & dogmatism). Don't take that harshly ok. Its just a thought (say anything here). Just not to confuse you any further, the equation is still left unsolved. The value of the one variable needed to complete this equation is the reason why we are in dying need of salvation, peace, and harmony amongst ourselves, the reason you wake up in the morning and pray (if you do), the reason there's war and famine, the reason birth and death, the wedding and divorce, the reason for the reason of the reason. And until this value is found, the equation will never balance.

Now here's the trickest part of the whole mathematics of existence: This X factor is hidden somewhere no one would ever look. Some tried, many failed. The few who found it are too much in awe to tell anyone. And the few that did, well, there were killed or just disappeared. It stares at you everday. You stare at it everyday. You pay enormous amount of time with it everyday. you love it more than anythingelse. But the trickest thing is that, you only get to see what you want to see. And the value for X?... you can't be bothered with it. Many have searched everywhere for it, but has always been there since the begining of time, passed on from generation to generation, life after life, civilization after civilization, confusion after confusion, surgery after surgery, experiments after experiments.

Where or what is this? That is the question my friends. Sit back. Relax. Take a glass of ogogoro or what ever paddles you canoe, and FIND X.

SELFISH? Who isn't?

Selfishness - An Adject to decribe you. YES YOU! Or if you want feel a bit comfortable, use this: "Concerned chiefly or only with yourself and your advantage to the exclusion of others." You like? Doesn't desribe you right? Maybe not all the time, right? Sometimes you indulge in some selfless deeds, right? And you feel good too, right? I mean, there are times when you just do something, but it's for the good of those whom you do it for, right. Feel better now? uhm, Selfish one? Sorry, I don't mean to tick you off, but it's only natural what you are.

Whether you like it or not, you IS selfish. Everything we do, every move we make, be it for self or other people, we do it for self. TO satisfy that part of you that says DO IT! This next line will make you smile, a bit, or not: We are all selfish regardless, but what makes the difference is when our selfishness helps feed the selfishness of those whom you serve your bowl of selfish deed. Don't get lost, stay with me. There is no such thing, YET, as a selfless deed.

The only ONE who can offer it is GOD, cos he made it.

Accept it or not, you owe it to your selfish decision!

In & Out of Control

I was reading through kokoro ewa's blog today and I read a part where she was explaining something about how her parents met and all, and she said something in the line of "...the great I AM already had everything planned out. His ways are truly not our ways." Uhmm... seriously?

This brings me to the question of: Who is in control? You? Me? He? She? Them? They? What ever happened to "FREE WILL"? Another hooks? I know many of us have answers to these questions, but I beseech you to ask yourself... Are you the one actually answering the question? Of course many of you will say YES! But have this as a food for thought: "The greatest trick he ever played was to convince you that he is you." Fill in the blank for "he".

If there is already a plan, whose plan is the positive one, and whose plan is the negative one? What is your role in this? If all the decisions you make are guided by some unknown force (insert who you belive in here or who you don't), then it is not your decision (neither is it your life). If we follow that belief system, then everything we ever did, right or wrong, was done for that unknown. In that case, we are no better than the Television set whose job is to display visually or auditory the waves it recieves.

If FATE & DESTINY rules, then, regardless of what you do, your control is in someone else's hand. I know you won't feel comfortable about this especially when this someone is you-know-who!

A thing for thought:
Our experiences defines what we do and what we don't. Like it or not, NOTHING IS ABSOLUTE!

Friday the Thirteenth

Gosh! What am I going to say? Am so damn nervous. Ok. Ok. Ok. Put your sh*t together. Yeah. I last blogged here just a day after my birthday. I can't say it was out of laziness of anything, but I guess I got caught up in the web of undefinable existence. Today's 13th Day of October 2006... and its a FRIDAY! Remember friday the thirteenth?! Of all days that I choose to put the soul back into this blog. Goosh! I am so twisted (who isn't?).

Over the last 53days of my hibernation (yea, I went dozing in a dodgy cave close to Area 51 - but is actually Area 53... those bloody crooks!) I thought I'll never wake up from it. I'm still trying very hard to shake off the sad visions that I had while I was in there. But like everything else, there is a balance. Which to say, I also had some pretty good visions too.

Are you still wondering about Friday the 13th? Don't worry, Jason & his gang had their last HIT in the eighties, expect if some a*%hole brought 'em back on STAGE. Can anyone remember the origin of Friday the 13th? Read here , here, here, and oh here too. :-D

For all of you who commented on my blog, I say a big 10Q. More will flow from the mind of the unNAKED SOUL. Have a yourself ...!
